Kimberly Larson
Math and dancing might as well be as intertwined as peanut butter and jelly; two seemingly very different things where one is made better by the other. Afterall, you can’t understand rhythm without an innate understanding of math. As you might expect, we’re not writing the biography of a dancer here
About
Math and dancing might as well be as intertwined as peanut butter and jelly; two seemingly very different things where one is made better by the other. Afterall, you can’t understand rhythm without an innate understanding of math. As you might expect, we’re not writing the biography of a dancer here, but rather that of an accountant although both numbers and dancing were Kimberly Larson’s two greatest interests while growing up.
Fast forward to her undergrad studies at Mizzou, she was selected to complete a tax internship in New Zealand that allowed her to check off a number of activities from her bucket list, including abseiling down a waterfall, bungee jumping and skydiving. She’s went on to start her career in the Big 4 before leaving public accounting for private. But, for Kimberly, it’s less about the experiences and more about the people she met along the way, one being Stella Sanchez who recruited her to Dark Horse.
Despite choosing a sedentary profession, Kimberly is quite an active person. Practicing yoga, lifting weights and hiking are regular activities for her. She also enjoys exercising the mind via reading and playing board games with her husband. Her love for board games takes her to an annual board game convention that she enjoys among a likeminded group of friends.
